Introductory description
This module covers consulting knowledge in the era of digital transformation, broadening
the scope to include digital consulting and change management.
Module aims
The aims of the module are to:
(1) Review the fundamentals of digital consulting and its processes
(2) Discuss key themes in digital consulting, including data analytics, AI, digital
transformation, and sustainability,
(3) Discuss the principles of organizational change management and project delivery
Outline syllabus

- What is digital consulting?
- The digital consulting process
- Data-based consulting
- AI impacts on consulting
- Digital transformation consulting
- Organizational transformation and change management
- Project management
- Sustainability transformation with digital technologies
Learning outcomes
By the end of the module, students should be able to:
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of essential concepts in technology consulting and change management across various agendas beyond general consulting
- Use critical thinking and structured problem-solving to analyze digital consulting scenarios and develop evidence-based solutions
