Learning outcomes

By the end of the module, students should be able to:

  • Understand basic SQL queries
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for working with certain big data technologies
  • Demonstrate an aptitude to working with data presented in various formats including spreadsheets and relational databases.
  • Design and write basic SQL statements
  • Extract, manipulate, join and store data in relational databases
