Students to be able to participate in and/or lead project teams and use a variety of project management tools and frameworks to analyse business problems.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the module, students should be able to:

Identify and classify project stakeholders and define strategies for interacting with them.
Define the aims and objectives of a project and how they will be evaluated.
Review the people issues of a project in a structured way, identify and characterise uncertainties and define strategies for managing them.
Demonstrate implementation of a project in an organisation.
Critically appraise the various project management techniques and principles.
Explain how to plan resources in the execution of a project.
Explain how to prepare a project budget.
