Introductory description

The module provides the students a solid foundation in both foundational and contemporary strategy theory.

Module aims

The module aims to:

  • Develop a nuanced understanding of the economic and organisational foundations of strategy theory
  • Build awareness of the different traditions in strategy research
  • Introduce the major theoretical themes in strategy literature
