Learning outcomes
By the end of the module, students should be able to:
- 1. Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and critical understanding of methods in practice of public health including disease prevention, specifically vaccination and screening.
- 2. Demonstrate a systematic critique of the national and international context and current issues of public health and health care policy.
- 3. Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and critical understanding of key health protection topics (the environment and health and communicable disease control).
- 4. Be able to prepare public health protocols and policy documents.
- 5. Be able to outline the approach to communicable disease control.
