Module aims

To begin the development of students' research and transferrable skills through a program of tutorial activities

Outline syllabus

This is an indicative module outline only to give an indication of the sort of topics that may be covered. Actual sessions held may differ.

  • A program of tutorials providing guidance and support for development of scientific
    writing, speaking, researching and problem-solving skills in the context of subject matter
    drawn from the core lecture modules BS125 and BS129.
  • An extended essay on a biological topic.
